(Catchweed, Clivers, Goosegrass, Sticky Willy)  Creeping and clinging self-seeding ground dweller native to fields, woods and abandoned gardens of North America and Europe.  Traditonal usage (TWM): lymphatic, spring tonic. Plant prefers regular garden soil or woodland soils, shade to sun.  Sow in pots or directly in the prepared seed bed.  Seeds require dark to germinate, so best to bury 1/2 to 1 inch deep and tamp.   May take up to 60 days to germ, and germinates best in cool soils.  Give 30 days cold, moist refrigeration (place seeds in a plastic bag with moist potting soil, coir or peat) before sowing in standard greenhouse scenario for best results when using controlled planting technique.  Otherwise scatter the seed on open ground, cover and tamp–the seeds will respond when conditions are right.
